The Deserted?

So, What the fuck is this? This cluster of creative abstraction is a periodical printed, folded, and stapled in the living room of Coffey Haus Press. Soaked through pages that are painstakingly crafted and copied are the original publications of a swath of local artists, writers, and silence breakers. Everything in each edition spilled from head through hands: hand-picked, hand-crafted, hand-cut, and hand-pasted. Through our words and drawings, we appeal to our desire to create and contribute to a society that has both housed and harmed us. This zine is a collection of all the talents we have to offer, and we offer it eagerly.

Interested in ordering colored copies?

We'll admit that our obscenities' best guise is in color. Slapped on most of the pages of each edition is the rowdy shit we spit, but what truly ties this janky project together is the background art that our design team spends most of their late nights and anxious afternoons creating. Black and white doesn't do the art justice. Unfortunately: we're poor. We eat from Interfaith and shop from street corners. As much as our anarcho hearts hate the system and its dogmatic belief of and piety to money, we can't afford to pass the colored copies out for free.
