Kaitlyn "Thu" Hettinger

Kaitlyn "Thu" Hettinger is an artist and Wyoming resident who lives eight (8) hours from Yellowstone national park. She has worked with local theaters as a scenic artist and designer as well as a freelance artist. She is currently working on starting a vegetarian food truck in Laramie, Wyoming with her roommate.

Jesse Taylor

Jesse Taylor is a non-binary artist (he/they/it) who grew up in Casper, Wyoming, where cowboy hospitality is around every corner. Never really fitting the mold, Jesse found themself falling in line with both the punk scene and queer scene, where they found themself melding into a beautiful subculture that lay within both: queer punks. This community aided in shaping their identity and the discoveries that lay inside it.

Spending their time analyzing and delving into their own identity has brought about their passion for queer rhetoric. This desire to express and break the molds of what can and can’t be has engendered the unearthly and haunting qualities one might find in their work, as well as the hard-hitting, in-your-face attitude of the work overall.


Jesse is currently living in Laramie, Wyoming, and working towards a BFA at the University of Wyoming with a focus in metals and printmaking. They are also majoring in Philosophy with a minor in queer studies, all of this to further aid their practice as an artist and queer person. Their work has been shown in Solar Eclipse Group Exhibition, as well as the Paper and Pots Group Exhibition, both at Scarlow’s Gallery. Their work was also displayed in the Student Juried Exhibition, 2019, and 2021 at Goodstein Gallery. Their interdisciplinary approach is what drives them to continue on their path of discovery and revolution.

All my life I have been drawing a single line. The same line. It is just how I position the viewer in front of the line and say, “check this out.” I have done the cover and the comic for this zine.
